Yup, we can at least avoid the stink eye of some BCT snobs here while discussing MTC. There, I would constantly worry that good, meaningful, well intentioned posts and threads about MTC would get deleted because of malicious reporting.

The merit system there seems like an echo chamber. People with merits keep giving each other merits. Sort of a mutual ego massage. Leading to further alienation of junior members and cynicism of senior members. Newbs and Jr Members get ignored in the noise. It has become so bad that merit trading and merit begging has become commonplace.
