This is very obvious for many old timers in crypto world.  But I suspect this is not obvious to new comers.  Also different country has different preferred exchanges so that people may have different preferred conversion method.

OK, Here is my favorite method to convert Dogecoin (DOGE) to Bitcoin (BTC)  or Litecoin (LTC), Ethereum and trade through F1CX and ShorelineCrypt or other exchanges.

My favorite and most frequently used exchange is HitBTC.  Next is Livecoin vs Cryptopia, 50 50.

For large dollar conversion, say above $1000 USD, I found HitBTC is better because it has very tight spread among BTC/DOGE   or BTC/LTC pairs.
Cryptopia/Livecoin has higher spread, around 2%, but their fees are decent.  Livecoin has now very low fees so that it beats Cryptopia now while last year it was another way around.
NewEnglandcoin (NENG) is a 700x bargain compared to NewYorkcoin (NYC).  Buy NENG at ShorelineCrypto at https://shorelinecrypto.com

Just noticed that doge wallet at HitBTC is down for a while.  Cryptopia seems to  have improved a lot. Now I am back into Cryptopia a lot more on doge conversion with other coins.  BTC/Dogecoin market in Cryptopia is really liquid.  Plus  Crytopia  has LTC based trading pair and dogecoin based trading pair, which makes conversion more
convenient.
